Offices cannot afford to lose their essentials for long, and that includes something as simple as pantry lighting. In July 2025, we helped the client with a fast turnaround to replace faulty pantry lights at their Tuas office.
The Challenge
Here is what we were dealing with:
- Several pantry LED lights had failed, leaving the area dim to work in.
- The client told us the lights had likely gone in before the cabinetry and tables, so ceiling access was now very limited. With the microwave table sitting right under the faulty fixtures and the LED driver tucked up in the ceiling, getting at it for maintenance was tricky. Their in-house team did not have the ladder height or clearance to do it safely.
- On top of that, they needed it done quickly and without disrupting staff during working hours.
The Solution
What they wanted: the faulty LED fixtures swapped out fast, so things were back to normal with no delay.
What we did:
Timing: the whole replacement was done within two to three hours.
How it went: we first checked access through the dining room ceiling to find the LED driver, coordinated with the client to work around the fixed fixtures with zero disruption, removed and replaced the faulty lights with compact energy-efficient LEDs, and did a final check on brightness and stability.

- Worked carefully around the tight access caused by the fixed furniture.
- Tested and confirmed the lighting quality and coverage afterwards.
